Really? You're putting yourself in a lot of danger if you're looking out for truck drivers. They get weeks of full time training, multiple tests, constant inspections and scrutiny etc etc etc.
If you want to save your life, look out for the people that only have to answer 20 multiple choice questions and take a 5 minute road test, yeah that's right, four wheel drivers require no formal training, are barely scrutinized at all, and cause 99.99 percent of all accidents.

@unknownsilant hey everyone ive been looking into company sponsored driver training with P.A.M Transport, you sign a one year contract with them and they pay for your cdl classes does anyone out there have any experience with this? do you think this would be a good way to break into the trucking industry?

They should add on the list of things to bring... safety vest; hard hat; safety shoes; coffee (in a thermo); and the driver must be supporting a beer-gut :P

isnt it when u push the brake pedal the air in the brake lines slowly leak out and the brakes start to work and when u let off the pedal the pressure is back to keep the brakes free ??
Aight well I want to know the end results..? Did u pass? I just went through Swifts traing academy in Millington Tn. and got my lic. and I seen a comment on this vid about Swift pay.. I hear a lot of bad about swift and now that I am home for a week I want to see if n e one will hire and pay more.. Not to mention they won't let u take the truck home and I live three hours from the terminal...Please comment back...

I failed the parking test once, and the road test once, but Daly kept me onboard until I passed.
I never worked for Swift, so I can't say.

mybigbearon, you are retired USAF? If so why the hell do you choose to drive trucks if I was retired I sure as hell wouldn't be driving a damn truck. I would be on the bank fishing and drinking beer.
