http://www.otj.com OTJ recently held an event in Charleston to meet with individuals in the local commercial real estate industry.
--------------
Speaker: Charleston is the oldest city in South Carolina. It is known as "The Holy City" due to the prominence of churches on the low rise cityscape and numerous steeples which dot its historic skyline.

On a warm evening in September 2010, OTJ opened its doors to the Charleston community. The cocktail reception was held in a 19th century home on Society Street located in the heart of the Holy City. Both Lance Jaccard and Caki Diehl represented OTJ at the party. Lance knows South Carolina with a Clemson architectural degree and numerous contacts in the area and Caki coordinated the event which was held in a beautiful childhood home.

Forty guests were in attendance from the various sects of the local and national real estate industry. Everyone networked and sampled the delicious creations by Donna Gustafson of Epic Feast including panko [bread] bites with crystallized ginger chutney; foie gras mousse with strawberry tomato jam; salmon tartar with shaved fennel and orange gastrique; mushroom ragout and gorgonzola cream sauce on crostini; beef tenderloin with balsamic reduction with caramelized onions and fried sage. The dining room of the house served as a backdrop for OTJ to display a variety of its projects in both the printed form of signature marketing looks and on a stunning 50-inch high definition flat screen T.V. One patron commented that it was "one of the best events of the season, a great opportunity to meet folks whom they didn't know before." And in addition it led them to new friendships and knowledge of OTJ Architects. Guests took away a custom made OTJ coozie for booze on the beach, a waterway or tail gate, a football season must have.

OTJ Architects would like to thank all the wonderful guests who attended this event and is looking forward to building new relationships it has developed in the historic Charleston community.
