SAS means Solid Axle Swap. If you look at my video titled Dana 44 you can see what I did. You take out the front end and replace it with a Solid Axle. I used a Dana 44 because I'm in the process of installing a Mustang GT 5.0 with an automatic and Dana 300 Transfer case. Keep watching the old is out and the new is ready all I need is some time to geter done.

So far it has worked GREAT. I don't have to charge up a hill, I can just do what we used to call Kreepy Krawl, before the SAS I couldn't.
