Flaxseed Oil is a great way to get Omega-3 Fatty Acids in your diet. Flaxseed contains ALA, and is a great alternative source of Omega-3s for people who are vegetarian/vegan and don't eat fish or take fish oil supplements.

  • Flaxseed oil is a great Omega 3 source, but consuming the actual flax seed is much better for you because it has that additional fiber and cancer fighting lignans that the flaxseed oil leaves out. And since you can't just eat the seeds they need to be grinded up which can be hard and annoying to work into your diet. But there is this chewable Flaxseed tablet now called FlaxFit that has all the benefits of the grinded flaxseed powder in a chewable tablet form. Check it out....flaxfit.com.
