man this game was so much work to complete, countless playthroughs finding the scrolls then when you do, first time youre likely to miss the message telling you where to go and even after all that, the hidden level is a bitch cos if you walk backwards more enemies would spawn. hardcore game!

LOL, I used to die on level 9 (the rock climbing one) just to hear the music for that stage. I got this game when I was 8 years old. 20 years later, my copy still works and to date I have only beat the darn thing once! I think it wasn't until 10 years ago that I finally figured out how to get all the scrolls. Those flame throwers at the last boss used to get me all the time. Also, I'm with all those who cringe at you wasting all those shots to not get the bonus at the end. Thanks for posting!
