The tabacco tax is about the government trying it's best to slowly force smokers to stop smoking. It is a government attack on the " Freedom of Choice " The Government is already working on taking away the gun rights and as been for years. As a Marine veteran I have to wonder what freedoms will be left in this country or are we just beginning to see a new Russia or communist develope this in this country.

I am a Marine Veteran the Tabacco Tax represents just one freedom the people of this country will see go. The Tabacco tax represents " The Freedom Of Choice."It's a shame because as a Marine veteran I offered my life in defense of the freedom this country just like my father before me. Know I watch this government keep raising Tabacco taxes in the hope people will stop using it. Well people it will not work because when tabacco becomes illegal I am one person that will become it first customer.

The Average state tax per pack is $1.19 [Countrywide]
43Million people X $1.19/pack X 365 Days = @ $18.7 Billion Dollars per year
The Federal tax per pack (April 1, 2009) will be $1.01
43Million people X $1.01/pack X 365 Days = @ $15.9 Billion Dollars per year
