The very end of this clip for myself kind-of waters the eye's Two souls who shared so much, fed off of each other, impacted one another, and what life's purpose & meaning: Souls sharing an experience & time together, living, caring for one another, saying all that;s in you heart & how their life made yours that much more special. How going home (death) should be!
try,, it "first and you will understand what its all about.dont look for the truth inside you dont go too deep ...nothing in there... or its everything...or its death we calling it..find it yourself
p.s. Ram Dass was discussing the Hindu concept of "monkey mind" with Timothy Leary ... using the familiar analogy of a drunken monkey to illustrate the jumble of thoughts which flood the mind upon waking up every morning & characterise the waking state of consciousness. Tim's reply was to say that while others were welcome to believe such a concept, "my mind is like a laser"
@freedomfromthemind With all due respect you can listen to descriptions of & obaserve thousands of LSD sessions however you will never know the experience unless you have it yourself. It is ontologically singular & relative experience. Words fail. Art fails. Describing a dream is not the same as dreaming.
But don't misconstrue me: You don't need to take LSD, a "gratuitous grace" (Huxley) neither necessary nor sufficient for salvation. But you cannot "know" the experience without having it
...this might offer a clue as to why the U.S. Government persecuted Timothy Leary and continues to slam to the wall & stigmatize Cannabis users while providing subsidies for Tobacco farmers.
