elatable - THIS was the Peel session, not the PBL version, which in my opinion was fucking awful, the whole of that album was recorded in a shed. To follow Room to Live with that.... the album versions of these are so watered down.

The best ever Peel session for me... back in 83, i was pissed in my ex girlfriends bedroom and i was caught up in the maelstrom of it all.... merrydown and this.... a great idea at the time... bollocks to teenage angst, i loved my reenage years, they were filled with The Fall.

I did this song for my second year recording technology assignment, i fucking love it. I recorded the vocals with a really shit mic overdriven to fuck at about midnight after a load of tyskie and spliffs. My favourite song by my favourite band. I don't think any other band plays their instruments so relaxed. Mark E Smith is a genius.
