Did you use a Canon EOS t2i (550d)? If yes, was this recorded with the on board microphone?

Yes I use a Canon EOS 550D and only use the on board microphone at the moment. :)

But you can use a stand alone stereo microphone on it too if you want.

Yeah no problem mate. It works good at a distance, far away from the stage!

But I am happy with this camera it gives good quality videos and pictures with right lenses though!

I heard that this camera has a 12 minute limit when shooting video. Is this true?

Never tried to record that long as the songs on concerts usually are 4-6min long only so. :)

But as I can read there are a limit of

Max. clip length: 720 seconds (1080p) / 1,440 seconds (720p)

As it is"only" a digital camera and not a digital video recorder I think its good enough. There are not any DSLR cameras (as I know at least) that can record for longer times. :)

You have to plan your recordings before you start. ;)
