I did my tours in Afghanistan and I think, it's alright to say, that the army is a crappy job - despite the commercials.. But when it gets to defending your country, you do what's humanly possible to protect it from anything..

@USMCFUCKYEA SAS say that your special forces walk around with the latest glasses and designer jeans so that they stick out like yanks in a fruit shop. Its all about blending in. And US navy seaks absoloutley butfucked there role in the invasion of iraq 2003. Do a bit of research.

BTW dont use a failed SAS mission as a reason why the USMC are better. Its not like they were killed on the first day. Do you evan know what they went through? How much they traveled to get back to their own lines? Fuck one of them (Ryan) traveled 100 miles across the desert to Syria when the team split up! That takes sum skill to do that. I dont see any USMC with their sunnies and guns slung doing that. As for wake island if you dont remember they also lost to the Japs.

Why do we always have these US-British arguments? we've got soldiers fighting and dying to protect us and all you can do is slag them off? I live at RAF ST Athan and there are some guys from the Parachute Regiment here who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan and they have nothing but respect for the Americans.
