The young German Pro-Cycling Team NetApp is on a Mission. Manager Ralph Denk has set an ambitious goal of reaching Pro/World Tour status within 3 years. However, the racing circuit, its organization and the unforgiving road are going to put up a good fight. His 17 riders may be passionate and dedicated, but the majority of them are young and inexperienced. How will they cope with the relentless pressure? Will it make them stronger or put their endeavour in jeopardy?

This 3-part Series documents the Team's first appearance at the Queen of the Classics Paris-Roubaix. Episode One introduces the Team and its Riders and sets the stage for things to come.

Filmed and Edited by Markus Neuert for Cyclefilm.
Music by Asche & Spencer
Original Score by Adam Brown

  • well done, w great footage. The only thing I didn't like was the beginning "Gladiator like soundtrack" similar to what was used in Chasing Legends.. Didn't like the rock music either. Would have to preferred to hear the bouncing over the Arenberg like you did @ 4:23. That was really good. At 4:45 the film takes on a new life, new meaning.. Its transcended from good to GREAT !!! The background musical score blended in with the background sounds was perfection. Can't wait for pt. II

  • @simonjagassar Thx Simon, just trying to give it a good mix and put in something for everyone. Episode 2 and 3 will take the story further.

  • This is so well filmed ......I thank you for sharing this footage!

  • I don't listen to rock music really, if I am just listening to music, but I thought it fitted well here. Cracking vid! Really well produced, looked properly professional.

  • awesome mini-docu! when is the 2nd episode coming out? cant wait!

  • Great video...

  • i agree with simon's comments regarding the transition from good to great. i'm really interested to know how the riders deal with adversity - regardless of their status as pros or whatever - that is a really hard ride and for the club rider or the casual weekend rider alike, there are tremendous learnings to be gained from the real presentation of their experiences. i cannot wait for the next installment!!! steven
