We were recently privileged to have these two wonderful musicians who, together with David Bridie, Airi Ingram and Richard Mobu, stayed with us for a night and played round our campfire. They are here in the UK as part of the Wantok Musik Foundation and are from various parts of Papua New Guinea and Australia. Simon Swale plays mandolin in The Damp Rats and has spent many years in PNG and Vanuatu. Frank Yamma and David Bridie went on to play at WOMAD on Sunday evening and we were lucky enough to go with them. Many thanks to all including Min, who made it happen for us.
