Rush's new single Caravan from their upcoming 2011 album Clockwork Angels.
Recorded: 2010
Release date: April 1, 2010
Lyrics for Caravan & BU2B: http://mp3lyricsmania.blogspot.com/2010/06/rush-caravan-lyrics.html

Lyrics:
In a world lit only by fire
Long train of flares under piercing stars
I stand watching the steamliners roll by

The caravan thunders onward
To the distant dream of the city
The caravan carries me onward
On my way at last
On my way at last

I can't stop thinking big
I can't stop thinking big

On a road lit only by fire
Going where I want, instead of where I should
I peer out at the passing shadows
Carried through the night into the city
Where a young man has a chance of making good
A chance to break from the past
The caravan thunders onward
Stars winking through the canvas hood
On my way at last

In a world where I feel so small
I can't stop thinking big

  • I`m 13, and nothing angers me more then when people act like all kids listen too is rap and pop. That stuff is terrible. Me and my friends have been Rush fans every since the release of Vapor Trais and we always will! Rush lives on!

  • i also have been a FAN of rush since 78 .but never fucking never would i believe my critical views, or suggestions on how to make this band better,or question there ability.who are you, terry brown?

  • So in closing, my other thought that if Rush would have had the ability to listen to their later stuff (which I will define as about 98' - 2012) they would likely just shake their heads. Listen to their earlier stuff.....you know the music that made them famous. Stuff like "The Trees". In that song you have a real diversity of sounds and moods. A classic and not really even one of their better songs from that era. At this point in their career I would had hoped that Rush would had improved.

  • I had not heard this song yet but knew that it was off of the forthcoming album. My one word review........"Yawn". Now before everybody says something like "this is their best song ever and is a return to form", just to let you know I have seen virtually every Rush tour since about 78' or so. So I am not some new fan just spouting off. Most of their recent output has a very similar sound to all of the songs. Almost like a "wall of sound" quality with Geddy singing along in a mid-range tone.

  • @analoguecolour Yeah like that )0

  • I'm not one for tattoos, but I'm getting one for sure, and that's the lyric "In a world where I feel so small, I can't stop thinking big." Sums up my life and how I feel about to a tee. I fucking LOVE Rush.
