MANY students don't use articles properly in their speaking or use them wrong, so your explanation of using NOT in front of an article doesn't make any sense. I would explain that we use NOT after the auxiliary verbs))

When I was a kid, I also watched Sesame Streets which was not English version but Japanese. For me the TV programs were not fun so much.

No and not CAN be used in the same sentence. For example, what if someone said, "No, I do NOT want to go there."
how about "no worry or dont worry? which one is right?
