@joethulhuz Even Metroid and Nintendo had to break off from it's roots to keep the series going. An FPS Metroid game was not a bad idea but the story was bad. The same applies RE. I hate the story behind the recent ones. Las Plagas, stupidest enemy ever created! Pfft. That's not scary. At least if they do a RE2 remake it will be completely true to the series' roots. Old style with new graphics and REAL ZOMBIES.

@joethulhuz Exactly what RE shouldn't be. Capcom had to bend to the masses to keep the series alive. Because now a days the only thing the casual gamer cares about is blasting the shit out of everything. The only genre that anyone cares about now is action or FPS. Sad really. In a few years you won't even see any other type of genres. TPS or FPS will be the only type of game around.
