This mangroves have been there for almost thirty to forty years. The first planters as far as I remember was Nonoy Abello from Antipolo. During the 90's it was further develop by virtue of the large area which was owned by Tiyo Pelis Carabuena Tumabiene, it becomes a source of income for the people of Antipolo through lumber that have been used as decoratives. It was only during the time of Bgry. Captain Paul Umbao that this eco-tourism projects was launched kudos to him.
