First of all she IS judging. Second, as a gay man, it appears to me that the despair that she speaks of is probably what she actually sees. Her "pray the gay away" organization takes in vulnerable, self-hating gays and tries to change them and actually inflicts the despair of which she speaks She probably does not see the rest of us self-accepting queers who live productive, loving, happy lives. She should send her own husband to the clinic. He's the biggest closet queen going.

I am looking around me and I am thrilled about the progress we are making towards equality. We are not all religious people Roger and therefore do not base our beliefs on bible story. And exactly how is it that gays being allowed to marry is infringing on your freedoms? You still have the right to practice any religion you choose, you can still marry a straight person, you can still move about freely in society. It does not affect you at all. Move on.

Yes you do have the right to say it. We have free speech in this country. But times are changing and you can't turn back the clock so you are just howling at the moon. You are right that you've a right to state your religious beliefs . That said no one in the USA has a right to legislate said religious views into this" land of the free". If you want Theocracy take a look how well it works in one( say Iran for example)
