the only difference of an 85 and 86 is the the rigidness of the chassis,the 85 has a weak chassie,the 86 is more rigid,so its more stiffer. . . .but other than that,the 85 and 86 looks the same,thats why its very confusing to see if its an 85 or 86. . . . . . . . .sorry for some bad spellings.. . . .. . . . :D

SIGH, everybody..... who cares if its a 85/86, it doesnt matter what it is, these cars, full stop, are just a peice or art, just respect it, no matter what it is. plus, by now like every single one of them has had a engine change so who cares lol.
I own a 1983 sprinter, supposivly a AE85, but it has a twin cam 16 valve engine w/e which apparently is what a AE86 has. either way, i dont care, i love these cars to bits, and there all awesome. so 85 or 86, w/e there all awesome, get over it lmao.
hachi roku = 86
hachi go = 85

I can confirm as a japanese person that this video says "ee-ii hachiroku" a number of times... which is ae 86
