  • thats bloody brilliant! and to know that you can do that from another country with live video output is amazing.

its a bit squeky and expensive, but i can see why it's so expensive.

brilliant product, wish i had one!

  • The wheels/drive system on the manufactured version of Rovio are much much quieter - and smoother as well. (The unit in this video was just a test prototype.)

Please visit WowWee's website for updated demos and information.

  • So, is this thing available for purchase?

  • WowWee's website is the best source for official information on the Rovio robot. It's part of their 2008 product line, which they unveiled CES, with Rovio scheduled for launch later this year.

  • Cool this would be handy :) But the camera speed

is going to be slow u need a really good connection to make video smoother :((((

  • The video speed is actually pretty good if you have a decent router. It looks a slower on the YouTube video in part because of the screen grab software and compression we used to create the video. (You're seeing a video of a video)

  • Have a question. how far from its station

Rovio can travel say like if I wanna watch out side my house see what's going on.

  • What if an object is in the way? Will it detect it and go around?

  • This thing is amazing, I love to see Wowwee manufacturing products like this.

  • seriously cool stuff!!!
