Here's a clip of me beating my electrical system up. Played from a fully topped off set of batteries(15 volts) till 10.5 volts under full load. That's damn close to 100% dead. Just wanted to test the 95 AH's of reserve capacity to see how it hangs. I'm thinking I better get another real battery like a D3100, dump the 35 AH Stinger cell, and the worthless overhyped BattCap. That should give me more time at the drive in movie theater before I have to start my truck. I just thought it was funny that on every bass hit, the check gauges light would come on, then turn off in between bass drops. I never so this, I just wanted to see how far I could push it. Now I know!

To those of you with systems... Even if you don't have surround sound, hit one up. It's freaking SWEET! People always come up and ask watt's in the truck. I think next time I'll tell them some 6x9 Sony Xplodes on deck power! LOL!

  • nice lol nice 5/5

  • I'm sure you know watts up with drained batteries. 1600 watts on one yellow top must hand that thing it's ass. Then mids and highs too? Shiieeoot! I was just testing to see what I get out of 95 amp hors of capcity. 45 minutes and it's over. I was playing some real heavy shit though... bass testers and what not, so it lasts quite a bit longer when playing regular music. I need to do some serious upgrading. Subs, box, amp, batteries. This audio addiction is damn spendy!

  • other than yer truck not starting yer goona blow yer power supply out in the amp or sum fets! thats mega low voltage. othere than that great vids bro just dont want tp see the amps get ruined. cuz i want to see MORE!

  • Yea, your totally right bro. It is very stressful on everything. Amps, alt, everything on the system. Lead acid batteries also don't like to be cycled deep like that, deep cycle or not. I'm sure you know. I got it down to 10.5 under a good load, so I quit there. Stupid, but I just wanted to see what my battery set up has in it. I need to get some bigger and better ones. I only have 95 AH's of power, I need double that, or more. Two hours at the drive in movies is kinda harsh with some wattage.

  • ha ha sweet =D

  • Right on! I had to get a clip of it in it's last moments before I left. I need some bigger better batteries!

  • Yes it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • get a kinetik hc3800 that will do the trick.

  • hahaah nice mine did that when my bat was almost done i had a new battery in the back of the car and on the way home i was bumpping it and the whole car shut off it was crazy had to change battery in rain when it was 40f outside alone side the road

  • lol ok bean

  • I was being pretty carful. I kept the volume down when the voltage started to dump. I just wanted to get a quick clip before I went home. 95Ah is simply not enough. I need close to double that. I do the drive in's here and there, so I want more reserve capacity, not to mention the voltage drop would be less under load and less work for the batts so they last longer. I need a D3100! That's a real battery.
