Racist watermelon scene,, farina has a most racist line in this scene, an YES this was the times, an yes there were many racist scenes,, but that was the reality of that era in film,,, i grew up to these kids we learn so much about puting on plays, & being creative from them too, i think its so so sad that some one can decide what we get to watch an whats best for us as adults, i think its bullshht,, these kids were so amazin, so much real & raw talent, some of them didnt even know they were filming shows,,, i loooooooove the little rascals the good the bad the ugly, it was a part of life u cant change or wish it away,, history should never be re-written, an these kids shouldnt ever be forgotten, Godbless the Little rascals-the our gang bunch they were the best kids on tv for me

  • whatever...the white kid seems to like watermelon too since he brought it up. who dont like watermelon?

  • Welcome to Class Warfare 101 thanks to the Great Divider Barrack Obama shut up and enjoy.

  • I believe Farina to be the first black ever to sign a film contract! In one episode, the teacher is getting married and the kids werent for it. Farina says "I aint never getting married and I gonna teach all my kids the same thing".

  • While some may view the blacks in Our Gang as stereotypical, I think it's only fair to point out that Hal Roach treated all his kids as equals. All the characters- black and white- were have-nots. Kids getting by in the Depression with imagination and inventiveness. It should be pointed out, too, that Stymie was the leader of the gang in his days. The black actors said they were treated better on set than in their own neighborhoods. I think Our Gang was a milestone in the road to integration.

  • Don't forget the kool aid..lmao!!

  • HELL YEA !

  • apparently anything associated with black people is "RACIST" what a bunch of crap.

  • @orangehornet57 SPANKY was a racist from Lubbock Texas..he didnt KNOW it was racist ..lol..he inspired Eric Cartman LOL....but this was damn funny

  • Terrible acting LOL

  • why does everything have to be considered racist. Its was a good wholesome show and yeah comedy in the 30s was different from today but that doesn't mean you have to degrade everything to racism.
