  • @MrPunkFever Twas' a good argument mate! Love the rivalry

  • @BigZdubZ Wrong guy, sorry. I'll probably come back to this, but right now I've just taken a bath and I'm at that stage where you just go "I don't give a fuck, let me sleep".

  • @MrPunkFever I never said anything about 5 world class teams tearing apart the rest... Idk what your talking about chap

  • @MrPunkFever 90% of it is, imagine telling Ronaldo that he could only receive $100,000 to play for RMA he would say go **** yourself in broken english, spanish or portuguese. And then he would go find someone else who could pay him. Pure abstract of course

  • @BigZdubZ On to your statement about 5 world class teams tearing apart the rest. Check out the table and you'll see how wrong you are. How is it that Cardiff (A lower league side) can reach the final of the Carling Cup against a team like Liverpool if it was all really as boring as you say? The prem IS unpredictable, it just seem as if you don't pay attention to the results,or the league for that matter. Ignorance doesn't make up for a misinformed answer.

  • @BigZdubZ USA isn't part of Europe and in turn, that means they can't compete in said tournament. Football isn't JUST about the money, and even with it I don't think MLS would be considered on par with the top 3 European leagues for at least another 50 or so years AFTER the money has been injected.

  • @BigZdubZ My mistake, I thought this "Designated Player Rule" restrcted teams in the amount of top class players they can sign.

Regarding the wage cap, I really don't think that would make a huge amount of difference. Players compete in England because of the money they get paid yes, but they also come here to play for the best teams in the world who can compete in the Champions League which is probably the highest honour you can achieve at club level.

  • @thablacks Do you understand how football works my friend? Do you know what a salary cap is? Have you ever once thought that EPL is the NFL of England? Do you have American football players as good as ours? You are correct by saying EPL is better than MLS talent wise... It's obvious, a blind man could see that... You are misinformed by comparing the two like they are supposed to be equal. There is a major difference in how much we can spend. That's all

  • @MrPunkFever Idk what your talking about, I mean David Beckham plays for the Galaxy and gets like 6.5 million a year. Idk of any 2 star players that get paid like that. The MLS salary caps are nothing compared to EPL. Once more money flows to the MLS the more talent we can bring to our culture of football. Pure and simple.

  • @thablacks Arsenal tied 1-1 with the Red Bulls and NY is one of the worst teams in MLS even with Henry (They finished 10th). The EPL is just 5 World Class teams tearing apart 15 crap teams, It gets boring after awhile. Henry tears apart the EPL while he has trouble in MLS because the teams are more evenly matched. In MLS, Every team has a chance to win the title and it makes it far more nerve racking.
