2002 Post-Ohio State vs. Michigan Game Riots #6

after the buckeyes beat michigan in 2002, ohio state campus turned into a carnival of alcohol-fueled revelry. i was staying at a house on 12th and indianola experiencing the debauchery firsthand. it was a warzone: people were tipping cars over and lighting them on fire. they were uprooting trees and ripping doors off of houses to fuel these infernos. tear gas was being dispersed while inebriated partiers were being pelted with rubber bullets. since then the school has taken steps to ensure that this kind of mayhem will never happen again. these videos are mostly of the aftermath following the riots. i found them online a couple days after the weekend--no idea who shot them.

this is why i hate ohio state. i am a michigan fan for life, but i dont hate any team but ohio state. notre dame is fine, michigan state is fine, and minnesota is fine. then you look at stuff like this from ohio state. when you see stuff like this. it is no longer "friendly competition".
