Thank you so much Dr. Robins, I almost had a tear in my eye watching this. I have suffered for years with serious pain in my "Pelvic floor" muscles. So bad in fact I went to the ER once as I was afraid I had Testicular Cancer or something. I have tried everything from meditation, acupuncture, herbs, and EFT(Practitioner tried hard) to no avail. The sense of relief, hope I have now is amazing. Do you have a video series like Robert? Thank you again!
you make a lot of good sense. I have watched a lot of Robert smiths vids. I am such an emotional person and just watching and listening and trying it myself has helped me enormously. Thankyou for sharing your thoughts on this. I wish I could have spoken to a doctor like you a long time ago. I was devastated when my father died in 1976 and held so much grief inside for so long. I totally inderstand how "held onto" emotions deplete energy.
I mis-spoke in one small area. Dr. John Sarno found that if you take 100 middle-aged people with NO back pain and do an MRI scan, 65% of these patients have either slipped discs, spinal stenosis, spinal arthritis, and no pain. So Sarno says that back pain is usually not due to the anatomic abnormalities, and is due to chronic tension and spasms of the muscles in the back. And that this chronic muscle tension and spasm is secondary to how we hold and process emotional issues in the body.
