How to choose the "right" photos and avoid the "wrong" photos to demonstrate your engagement or marriage relationship is "bona fide" when applying to USCIS using form I-129F or I-130 Fiancee or Spousal Visa petitions. Preparing a successful visa petition is both "Art" and "Science". The science is filling in the blanks correctly, and remembering to attach all the official documents that are needed. The "Art" comes in when you choose what evidence to present and how much to present, in order to prove to a possibly unfriendly stranger that you are a bona fide couple. 'when you choose the right photos, and tell a clear and compelling story, the more likely it is your petition will have smooth sailing.

  • my k1 visa interview is not successful would you please help me they dont understand how we meet

  • I would be happy to learn the specific details of your situation and share my comments. Ask your American fiancee to speak with me directly. I am in California and can be reached Monday to Friday at 1-800-806-3210 x 702.

  • should it be necessary about the time line of the petitioner going back to the hometown of the fiance? how if he is working in the military and military members are only allowed to have a personal leave once a year and they can't exceed beyond 30 days. it is still pretty considerable if the petitioner had only visited the fiancée once due to his job and finance right? we've taken tons of photos together from different places and he was only with me for a month due to his work..

  • The proof of your bone fide relationship is made of many factors, phone bills, emails, Instant message records, proofs of the time your fiancee has actually spend face to face with you. It is best that every 6 to 9 months you two meet each other. If that does not happen then your fiancee needs to have a good reason, why not? It is better for him to meet you each 6 months for two weeks, then each year for 4 weeks

  • An engagement party is good to have as it proves your family knows about your bf and you. While it is better you had one, it is not required. If I understand correctly you only have 1 ? photo of you and your fiancee together. That is very unusual. You should be prepared to tell a convincing story why no photos when you interview. And of course your remaining evidences should be very good in order to compensate.

  • @FianceeVisaServices hi sir, my fiance interview is next month.i have yahoo screen shots, emails, chats, call record for whole year, boarding passes tickets reciepts greeting cards but what i not have is an engagement picture, bcz we did not have an actual engagement party.we have one picture together in a park bus that all.please reply me is that enough?thanks

  • As long as you have a genuine relationship, and the family knows the relationship is genuine, it does not matter if they approve of your choice in a fiance

  • can i ask if one is the person who wants to go to the states but the family does not like him but u wanna be with him is it possible to meet just the americans family?
