  • I still get goosebumps watching this! RIP Barbaro!

  • Leggenda Barbaro.,

  • And here comes Barbaro! The UNDEFEATED Barbaro! He comes up on the outside and he takes the lead as the field turns for home in the Kentucky Derby Barbaro turns in on!

  • In my opinion, he was the next Secretariat. Heart of a champion

  • The magic is still present. Even 5 years later....Thank you Barbaro for such a wonderful and memorable performance....

  • It's just me, but I think there's just way to much horses on the track today.

  • @sisu212121 I hate to see horses WHIPPED RELENTLESSLY to perofrm - it's awful! If a horse can't win a race, what's the point in FLOGGING it? REF - Sham was FLOGGED by Pincay in each of the 73 Trip Crown races - FUTILELY! because Sham was unable (PHYSICALLY UNABLE) to outrace Secretariat. He was FLOGGED by Pincay to force him to peform - it's absurd. Either a horse is capable of out-racing the competion or it's not. NOTE: I am referring to RELENTLESS use of whips/force - it's WRONG. Period.

  • @nin12dog Completely agree. I dont think we will ever see another Sec. He was just a phenom but I could certainly see some of him in Barbaro. I certainly wish I could've watched him more. He was undefeated going into the Preakness. I don't know if he could pull off the TC due to his size but his fight and drive was unmatched.
