as psychiatrist susan lane, our girl (friday! i am so unfunny, sorry about that.) lives a life of order and reason. there is no human condition that susan is unable to apply her cool-headed logic to. . .until she meets michael kent, a soldier marching off to war who believes that matters of the heart need no explanation. he is convinced that susan is the one for him. unfortunately for michael, the only thing standing in the way of true love is his having to convince susan of the same.
