David Quinn made himself look very immature and was clutching at straws. He had no logical thing to say. Why does Dawkins even bother wasting his breath with a brainwashed "i want to be like the majority" sheep?!

@thesearewarningsigns You're right. Psychology and philosophy both suggest that people don't have free will. Even within Christian mythology, if it is a person's will to verify god's existence, this will never be fulfilled for obvious reasons. Also, if a person holds a gun to a person's head and says to do something, the victim is acting out of fear and isn't really choosing to do what the person says from will alone. Likewise, the threat of hell for not accepting further nullifies the concept.

@RogerWazup007 that is a profoundly stupid thing to say, but i don't really think free will exists at all, or at least not in the way most people seem to think it does. Like, of course we can make decisions, but there are a lot of aspects of our personalities over which we have no control, and more over, many of our responses are automatic. For example, think back on the last conversation you had. do you remember deliberately choosing every word?
