Islam wants us to believe that God waited over 4000 years from his creation to reveal himself through Mohamed? I don't think so, because the prior writings writing about God still stand. @thefredd That's debatable my friend because there's no actual reliable date that can establish with certainty that paganism existed before Judaism. The concept is that a true religion must have existed, prior to a counterfeit religion because truth comes always before a lie, which is one of the many reasons why Islam comes into question.

@Mancunian786 The issue has never been the truth about one God. The issue is whether that one God is the actual creator & not some pagan god posing as the creator as evidence show. Evidence show that Allah was the name of the moon god who had 3 daughters (El-Lat, el-Uzza, and Manat.) Mohamed at the very beginning endorsed the worship of those 3 daughters of Allah, then-later recanted saying that the devil made him do it.

@david1057 scholars date the origin of the five books of moses at around 600 to 400 b.c.thus the egyptian, babylonian and sumerian cults predate judaism. moses was raised by an egyptian family, at a time where akhenaton established the first monotheistic religion..where do you think he´s got the idea? furthermore, just like christians and jews do, muslims consider abraham as the patriarch of their religion. btw, after moses, jesus (Isa ibn Maryam) is the second most quoted prophet in the quran.
