It was the horrible way X was portrayed in X7. Seriously who shouts "STOP IT!" while they're blasting someone to bits? We all know X loathes fighting, but they took it waaay too far in X7.

X definetly "mans up" from X8 and onward. heck, in Command Mission he pulls out his buster twice as many times as Zero pulls his saber out when confronting enemies and boss Mavericks.

Considering X7 being the only 3D game, except for Command Mission (Which was fine, because it was an RPG) the X series is far from ruined. X8 happens to be in my Top 3 X games.
