Midwestern natives and acclaimed singing sisters, Kari and Kirsten Paludan, make their Springfield debut in the uplifting, multi-media musical memoir, "It's All Relative". Uniquely personal, yet universal, "It's All Relative" showcases the sisters' diverse vocal talents and features memorable songs both familiar and brand new.
SPECIAL UIS CONNECTION: This performance is particularly important to the sisters because of their family connection to Springfield. Their beloved father, Philip Paludan, was the Naomi B. Lynn Distinguished Chair of Lincoln Studies at UIS from2001-2007. Their step mother, Martine, is an active member of the Springfield community; working as a board member withthe Illinois Symphony and participating in numerous other organizations throughout the community. Kari and Kirsten have always felt at home in Springfield and are delighted to bring "It's All Relative"to the UIS Studio Theater for its Illinois debut in front of a "hometown" crowd.
