@kelzzycoster for the money there both great, but i would recommend upgrading the fork on the hardrock depending on what your doing because its a bit crap

Right ive watched this video lik 50 times in a row now im going to hav to buy it :)

@kelzzycoster I just sold my hardrock to a friend and bought a rockhopper and I'm more satisfied with the rockhopper because it has a lighter frame and better quality derailers. I've had that hardrock for 6 years and took it to hell and back and still works very well. ( I only sold it to my friend because I needed the money for a bigger sized frame )

i want a bike to ride trails/road... which would be better for that the rockhopper or the hard rock
suggestions would be helpful thanks!

@xIIsAsIIx thanks im hopefully buying this at christmas !

@samg9022 it is a good bike, got a hardrock pro myself and take it to the trails at least 2-3 times a week. However, the stock fork is pretty poor so that was upgraded to a Rockshox Reba RLT pretty quickly. Also, the tyres are not very good if you want to take it anywhere near mud so I'd get a set of Maxxis if you were serious about getting the bike and think about a set of pedals as well :)

from a buyers perspective is this a good bike ?

@VladTrof95 No it is not the bike I forgot to add that you will need to adjust the front deraluire. I for one dont have to do this since I race/ ride Single Speed haha. Take it by your local bike shop and have them look at it. It could be a matter of adjusting the derailure.

@potatomanjr Im saying this because the bike i have right now is really crappy and if ur on 2 gear on the front sometimes when u switch to 3rd it jumps out side of the 3rd cassette making it hard to put the chain back because of my chain guard, so i always leave the front gear on 3rd lol i was just wondering if this bike had that problem cuz of some reviews i've read

@DRTrampboy123 still riding it? Should invest in a better bike if your going to race this is just a entry level bike. They are all heavy and you will put to much money into it to make it light. My personal favorite bike companies are Yeti Niner or cannondale depending on which one you get (lefty)
thumbs up if you bought one!
