For more than three years, over 400,000 people have been killed in Darfur.
2,000,000 innocent people have been forced to flee their homes and now reside in refugee camps.
Over 3,500,000 men, women, and children now rely completely on international aid.
These atrocities have now been classified as a genocide, the deliberate extermination of a racial or cultural group.
We cannot be silent. Innocent men, women, and children in Darfur rely on our voices to save them.

I can only imagine the world we'd live in if we chose to ignore those who are suffering, who had the misfortune of being born into disastrous conditions, because they should be expected to "save themselves" from a situation beyond their control.
This video called for no specific action, but for the victims to be *acknowledged*, something that surprisingly can make a significant difference.
Just saying.

Do you believe that the oppressed, especially children, can ever really "save themselves?" You realize that the victims of war rarely are involved in the war themselves, yes?
I hardly think it's too much to ask that officials recognize the tragedy in Darfur and bring to it global attention, and thus put pressure on the Sudanese government to make efforts to end the war and protect its citizens.

Just saying but uh... you realize its a civil war and they're the only ones who can save themselves?
