The most visited social networking sites have faced a backlash for not having help buttons to report bullying and grooming.
The Child Exploitation and Protection Agency (Ceop) has raised its voice as Bebo put such a button for children on its site.
The body says other social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook should follow suit. But a Facebook spokesperson has responded saying users' safety is a 'top priority'.
Clicking the help button allows a user to contact Ceop officers for advice as well as detailing other help sites like Childline.
Not only are these buttons helpful for bullied or potential groomed children, it's a deterrent to the bullies and paedophiles according to Ceop.
The announcement comes half way through Anti-Bullying Week and after news from 'Beatbullying' that more than six in ten children are bullied on social networking sites.
