CBS News correspondent Ed Bradley filed this report on 60 Minutes, 1991.
Former Auburn defensive back Eric Ramsey tape-recorded phone conversations between he and Auburn coaches.
The result was the infamous "Eric Ramsey Tapes"

Auburn was def. wrong for doing this, but it seems to me that this guy had his hand out.

@captainjimusa They might get hit, but I seriously doubt they get the death penalty. Many members of the NCAA have said that that punishment will probably never be handed down again.

Paying football players happen all the time in the south, most players keep their mouths shut about. But the ones who come out and tell on the boosters and other people who paid them, they are the ones who couldn't make it to the NFL for ex. (Troy Reddick, Stanley Mclover, Tyrone Prothro, & many other NFL rejects).
