  • good job on making your friend hang his stick so you look good

  • Again, as I've noted below, please go to the 1:43 and 3:41 marks of the "Stick Checks" video by ducksdeluxe to see the SAME check in game action. Team Canada's Tom Marechek and JHU's Kevin Huntley don't intentionally hang their sticks to make their defenders look good. The check just works because that's what an attackman does when they change direction and are not careful protecting their stick.

  • the yard sale was nice, but against a good player, he's not going to hang his stick behind him like that. believe me, i've played on national teams that went 18-0 since I was 6, and this would never happen on any level higher than a High School Varsity team.

  • Frntir, please go to the 1:43 and 3:41 marks of the "Stick Checks" video by ducksdeluxe to see the SAME check in game action. The first one is Tom Marechek getting pinwheeled by Tony Resch (US vs Canada in '90 World Games Final), and the second is JHU's Kevin Huntley getting the same treatment from UNC's Stephen McElduff. I really cannot agree with your statement that "this would never happen on any level higher than a High School Varsity team".

  • Dude defense is the fucking best position in lacrosse!!!

  • Its called a takeaway check. They're high risk high reward. I play LSM, so I know the importance of having some takeaway checks to pull out at the right time on any offensive player (middie or attack) since you don't need to worry AS much about positioning on LSM. Even when I used to play Close D take-away checks were useful, you just need to know the proper time, proper technique, and know you've got a defensive player ready to slide and back you up should you miss.

  • wow these kids cant be on a team..

  • frntirl you dipshit

  • these kids suck

  • good check. poor positioning on the field when thrown. throw that check when he is running away from the goal, not on its doorstep

  • is that at miraleste??

  • its easy to recover from a back check, if you miss, you're already have momentum in the direction theyre going, so you just go with them.

  • tht was an awesome catch
