An inspiration to all, Team Hoyt is Dick and Rick Hoyt, a father-and-son team from Massachusetts who together compete in marathons, triathlons and even ironmans. Father of the century, Dick Hoyt knows about commitment as he has enabled his son to live life to the fullest despite his cerebral palsy, caused by loss of oxygen to his brain at birth because his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. Dick carries him in a special seat up front as they bike, pulls him in a special boat as they swim, and pushes him in a special wheelchair as they run. A true inspiration that should motivate us all to take our lives a step further.

How Great a father like this man Mr. Hoyt he did all those amazing things to his son inspite of that he has a heart disease. It was really made me cry while watching thingking and questioning myself why is my father easily left us like a rubbish in a trash. I hope my father can also see this video so that he can realize how irresponsible he is.

I just found about team hoylt a few days back in health class we were doing goal setting and team hoylt has proven when you put your mind to anything you can do it. my teacher showed the class a video of them and by the end of it I was in tears. it's amazing how a father loves his son that he will do races for him. I work/ volunteer with people like Rick and not / most do not have fathers which led me to tears seeing that this man will truly do ANYTHING to make his son happy. :)

Love these guys! I have severe cerebral palsy myself, much like Rick's. I'm very blessed to have amazing parents and a younger sister who support me. Though we haven't done marathons, we've surpassed many people's expectations. It's not easy, but if you put your mind to it, it will happen!!!
