  • @Argonautica8 oh great...I've been reading damnation? Uugh. I really loved the stories of Adam and Eve, they were so interesting. Thank you for giving me direction. God bless your well.

  • @lillypadstudio sacred-texts(dot)com has texts from just about every religion

  • @lillypadstudio the dead sea scrolls are made up of more or less of half religious texts and half community rules and such for a community that apparently lived on the Dead Sea (on the Jordan side I believe). No one really knows who they were. The religious texts are from the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) tho.

The Nag Hammadi texts are all "heretical" Christian text found in Egypt - apparently buried to hide them when the Church was hunting down unapproved texts to destroy them.

  • @Argonautica8 can you elaborate about the difference, ive been reading them what is a good site to read ancient true scripture? thanks

  • @MrCrispian the nag hammadi scrolls are not the dead sea scrolls. different site. different scrolls. different religion.

  • @MrCrispian : You better be careful on all this matter now,for I've seen so many people passing away because of Me,tragedies are coming around the lives all those who dare even speak against my person or my people,as it is written : I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you,and in Rev 11: 5b and if any men will hurt them,he must in this manner be killed.God is love but yet is burning fire. be careful...The Comforter,or Holy Ghost,or Melchizedek but now Melkissedec1.

  • @steelersrthebest100 Harsh but probably true!

  • The book of Hebrews chapter seven has eluded me forever; i hope to gain some understanding here.I must get this strait in my head; you state that LDS simply calls it "The Melchizedek Priesthood" and is so named because it is "after the order of the Son of God". Hbr 7:17, speaking of Jesus, says:"for he testifieth, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec." According to this, Jesus, not the Mormon church, is "after the order of melchisedec". please forgive my use of the KJV:)
