Fantasmic has cast members in costume it would be to dangerous for them to perform during a storm. This show doesn't have any cast members in it.

There was just an announcement at the time the show was to start that told the crowd nothing special.

The show was cancelled because of rain it was pouring right up until the show was supposed to start so they cancelled the show. Of course it stopped raining right after.

it's a nice show, but also quite funny.. It's like, 'hey we have to shoot off all these fireworks we set up.. Heck, let's just turn on all the effects and set them to random fantasmic music!'

did anyone hear "why did they say it was cancled"? LOL. I wish they would do this back then, I waited 2 hours with a butt cramp on those beachers just to miss that show, I could have been on 3 rides within that time.

The costumes that are used in the show, are not made to withstand being soaked in pounds of water. Thus, making the performers routine unsafe. WDW, has a special circumstance, being that Florida is subject to severe storms that produces inches of rain in minutes.

@Fiyeroni It isn't funny for them. It takes Tech Control hours to set up these fireworks. Believe me, they're more upset than we are at the show being cancelled.

@alaine93 A Reason thi show is done, is that once pyro is , it must be fired. So, they do this when The Full " Fantasmic, " can't go ....

You never hear ANYTHING about this Fantasmic breaking down because we don't have something as complex as Murphy does... all we have is a head attacted toa random arm, and two giant curtains that glow....
