  • Oh! I love this! Absolutely brilliant. I wonder if this is the same player I saw busking in Copenhagen in the 80's. with a duo? I still have that old cassette tape.

    This is great!

  • WOW! Thanks for the info! I will too! Great! I am happy again!

I copied that cassette to a reel tape and now the old reel tape recorder has given up. Good to know I can get it digital!

    Thanks.

  • @AndanteLargo Hello from a world away of time and miles. I had been looking through some old stuff and found the case to that same tape you're referring to, acquired from this man, busking with Peter Michelini in Harvard Sq. Cambridge Mass, USA in the 1980s! So today I was looking around and found that a lot of those recordings still exist on a compilation called Archguitar Baroque (you can get it from Amazon). Going to order one today. Music from heaven.

  • Mr. Blanchette, you are also very cute! : )

  • I too wonder if this is the same player I saw in the 80s in a duo. I also still have an old cassette tape that I found again and played last night. I believe it was Gibbons and Blanchette. They looked about 30ish in the photo, all dressed up in the style of the 1700s. I love it.

  • brilliant performance! such passion causes goosebumps to even the most casual of listeners, come to north hampton again!

  • Your interpretation is one of the best I've have been honored to hear! thank you!, may I ask who is the maker of your gorgeous instrument?

  • Great music making!

    Thanks for posting this.
