That is soooo tru. I like Lil wayne, cuz he has a way with words...but the truth is after hearing his album and that word as much as I did this summer, It started to hurt jus as much as if a white person was sayin it...

I mean I started to cringe when I heard it...seriously.

We "ALL" need to stop using it, u r right..It is time frothte death of the word.

Don't people know that that bs dictonary meaning was put there to justify whites using it...?

I know that your name don't mean that, it was a joke. I thought you would find it funny but I guess not. I was being lighthearted. But as far as the 'N' word goes, I use it but not around white people because it doesn't mean the same thing to them as that way we mostly use it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe not. The N word is hard to stop using after you've used it for so long though. I try to stop using it sometimes but it doesn't work for long.

For the "N" word u are so tru...it is hard to stop sayin it. I have tried and I've had ppl tel me to pls don't all them that. But it is hard to break out of that habbit. And I don't say it aroud whites when I do say it, but as far as the rappers and people i nthte public eye...they are the ones who should stop mostly..

If they use the word, at least don't use it carelessly. I got some patnas that don't care about saying it around whites, and to tell u the truth, it embarrasses me because it doesn't make you look hard. It just reinforces the negative stereotypes that some whites have of us, makes it harder for us. Most whites don't and never will...

It's just a word.

1. To not use the word "nigger" does not get rid of the IDEA behind it.

2. To not use the word does not get rid of the mentality that it describes.

To use the word or not...this is wordplay, semantics. A better plan would be to secure our positions in social and economic terms...but we're still getting sensitive over WORDS; we can't even get past name-calling. And the kicker is that those who hate us the most hardly ever even have to use such words.

Agreed, it is not cool as we like to act like it is and I am tired of white people hearing us calling each other that word.

I am tried of black children hearing us use it. I am tired of white people hearing us use it referring to each other and using it as "slang" or a term of endearment.

That word needs to hit the trash can and never return.
