it's kinda weird to think that everything was a tree before with leafs, and they where cut away cutted bended with steam sculpted nailed all togeter to make a nice piece or art all by it self made by man to float sail and serving on water to make commerce or voyage all around the country and seeing all of this underwater like a old forest of dust and wodden wall make me wondering what was the purpose of that ship witch kind of wood was used to make it how much people was on board...questions.....

Wow this is truly a beautiful ship and a ground breaking find!! her hull, keel, masts etc.. are still perfectly in-tacked!! i hope they raise her like she is and don't disassemble her. what a sight to see in a museum! i wonder if her cargo of paintings are still preserved? wow amazing!!
Hello akagipwner,
The Baltic is mainly fresh water, very low salt content and that means very few wood boring worms like the types found in the Atlantic and Pacific. That fact along with the fact that Vrouw Maria is in very deep water, away from storms and surface turbulence makes for a nearly pristene wreck site. She looks like you could sail her away
