A little disappointed that Kyle Smith didn't lend his usual surliness to the review of this film.While I don't think the movie was horrible,it was just adequate,very impressive visually but got way too much credit for how it depicted the political troubles.Zack Snyder only hints at the issues without challenging the viewer,I was very surprised to see him state explicitly in an interview that one can look past the subversiveness (which is what made the novel so original) to see its "fun"

this movie is a classic if you ask me. it seems that there are only a handful of people that agree with me though :( i suggest you watch the directer's cut again then make a final judgement because most of the comments bash it for not following the comic all that well.

I know right? I saw it and felt it was one of the best comic book to film adaptations. It just so happens that somethings are lost in translation to film. Some people who absolutely loved the comic hated the movie. I have the comic and have not read the whole thing but what I have read of it it seems pretty accurate.The actor who played Dr.Manhattan did a really good job playing his character. He is supposed to act numb and detached from humanity and it is executed well.

@Pigroota Even Alan Moore, the WRITER of the novel Watchmen didn't want to see his work hit the big screen. Why should i be silenced, because this movie was AWFUL? But if you liked it i guess i can understand considering that you've got shit for brains. It's people like you who are ruining the movie industry.
