Mysteries of Deep Space: Part 6 of 6. To find other life in our solar system, we may have to prospect for it. Our destinations: Mars and Europa, one of Jupiters moons. Beneath Europas crust, scientists believe, is an ocean of volcanically heated mud -- just the kind of environment that can spawn primitive microbes. The turbulence churning below is written across a veneer of ice. Europas surface is rent with fractures. The spacecraft Galileo recently sent back images of a zone, bulging with spill-over from the moon's roiling interior. If life exists here, then who can doubt it also has emerged in the universe beyond?

  • @demmylowther Knowledge is NEVER useless. To be human is to be curious. Better to stop all wars than to stop exploring, to save money for better purposes.

Even if we probably never will reach the stars, the speed of light and the tremendous amount of energy needed being gigantic obstacles, the search for extaterrestial life should go on.

  • sceince has something religion hugely lacks, proof

  • if you pause it at 00.10 lol it looks like the dark shaded parts of mars used to be oceans. My theory of planets and stars is would of planets come out of stars rapidly over millions of years? like would of Jupiter used to be were mercury and Venus is today? but what happens to planets when they reach the edge of the suns gravitational pull? would it get launched into space very slowly? and never know when mars was were we are now, it might have had life ate some time? Venus is waiting for life

  • @aluisious Yeah that's right, It will be here, But will we? We 'Rule' the world at the minute so we have to control it and look after it. Otherwise why put in all this effort with life at all.

  • @david123123ish We're not destroying everything either. The planet will be here regardless of what we do, it will just be different. We are not going to sterilize it.

  • Yeah only science and math exist all religion is brainwash. M theroy created everything.

  • After watching hubble deep space, i realized god has put in a lot of effort for nothing. To make all this universe just for us? Oh how nice.

  • God sucks, that's all i know

  • @david123123ish Flies, spiders etc are not sentient beings.....they are programmed to do 1 job and that's what they do.

We on the other hand are an intelligent species of animal that should know better.

  • @ilikemyhamthankyou98 "skeptics"......not Spectics....thats not even a word :P
