IDF spokesman - Military exercise

This evening, the Armored Corps' Golan Storm Brigade successfully completed a four day long training exercise in the Golan Heights. The purpose of the successful exercise was to test and display the abilities of the brigade. Artillery Corps, Infantry, and Engineering Corps battalions took part in the exercise, using live fire in different scenarios. The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenazi, went to watch the exercise along with the Northern Command's Strom Division commander, Brigadier General Eli Reiter; the Golan Storm Brigade commander, Colonel Roi Alkvetz; and the brigade's deputy commander, Lieutenant Colonel Eli Aaronson.

During the exercise, the soldiers mastered the use of the brigade's weaponry, which include, APC's, tanks, and D-9's (the D-9's purpose is to level the ground so tanks can pass over difficult terrain).

I can give you a summary.

"We are the IDF, we really dont need to train that much because we can pretty much kick anyones ass as it is. the thing i really like about the crew of the tank, they don't fear anything.

it's a sort of net bag that is attached to difform the round shape of the head. When seeking targets at long distances, you generally try to spot something that seems to have the round shape of the head.

This allows to difform your human shape so that you look just like a rock when lying on the ground or part of a bush when hiding in/behind one, thus making it much harder for your ennemy to spot you.

there is no need to ADS if the tank crews will train more.

namer will only be produced at a rate of 30 to 40 a year, that will hardly have an impact on the battlefield

they are implemented, the answer to AT rockets isnt always having better defences, but a better offense, the M113 is being replaced by the Namer and its merely finances that keep it in service- trust me, we arent dumb, we know what went on and were learning and becoming better because of it.

PS you wont be seeing Trophy or Armored Fist on these tanks, Storm brigade consists of mark II's who are not currently at the top of list to get outfitted with those.

wheres the lessons from the lebanon war? I didn't see one tank with ADS like Trophy, and to top it all off they are still using

M113 death traps!
