@davinort It's something I started doing during Music College, I'm not exactly sure what inspired it but I've found it useful and effective. It's a great 6 string exercise, too.

Very useful. Did you develop this yourself, or is this an old-favorite from Yepes' students 40 years ago? (Or Carulli's decacorde, for that matter).

@billm90 For the most part, yes.
Though there are other techniques that use a thumb upstroke like the Flamenco alzapua and some rasgueado patterns.
