Star Trek Phase II; The Lost Enterprise

This is a much needed introduction to the Star Trek Phase II USS Enterprise. Star trek Phase II eventually became Star Trek The Motion Picture. This Enterprise was the proposed design for that series which never came to be, utilizing some of the classic Constitution class characteristics as well characteristics from the TMP Constitution which we all know and love.

@97Gavman No, Matt Jeffires' original design for an upgraded enterprise just had new nacelles and a bigger torpedo launcher,

The design from this video was originally made by Jeffries for a never-realized second Star Trek series in the 70s whcih would have been the flagship show of an also-never-realized Paramount Channel.

Eventualy, when they decided to make the movie, they took that design, spruced it up a bit (new deflector, Even Bigger torpedo launcher, more glowing bits) and used it.
