Are you trying to discredit God for the free will of humanity? When people act on their own vanity and destroy the lives of others without regard to the love of humanity, they are playing God! To take our free will away is to make us nothing but robots, but God requires us to be thinking loving people. The people portrayed on your video tried to play the role of God and failed miserably at it. They did so, because they were foolish and those who followed such people are just as foolish.

Those people and things were not created by atheists, they were people and ideologies that understood that religion had the power to control people blindly; and they wanted the people to have that same faith in them.... So, the next logical move was to destroy people's belief system and install in them a brand new one.

@Randompzycho Classical secularism was the de facto absence of religious compulsion. The Romans didn't care what if any god one worshiped, so long as Caesar's power wasn't challenged. Modern republican secularism is by contrast explicitly codified and protected. Such statues and conventions as the US Constitution's 1st Amendment or its Establishment Clause exist to defend State from Church. The wall separating Church and State was erected because the Church relentlessly attacks the State!
