I consider them more like a Militant Heathens of some kind. Pure totalitarian victory. Once and for all!!

This is a great song; the whole album; let alone their whole catalog! Especially the end of this song; excellent end to a brutal wrath pounding! This tells the PC kosher approved metal click of today; that we will not sell out! 14

i cringe whenever i think about this shit. you could give a newborn 2 pencils and some pots and pans and it would be better music than this!

Somebody fucking slap me. For years I've been ignoring them because I thought there name sounded like some shitty Fear Factory worshipping nu industrial bullshit. THIS. BAND. IS. AWESOME.

yeah I agree, it is more blackened death WAR..
the lyrics are pretty cyberpunk tho, well not sure about this album, but OBEY is, that album is fucking my fav.. totally amazing.

Great post mate. Total support from my side, they're so amazing. Especially Obey album. Just look at this, it just can't be more metal:
"In wait lie, In wait lie, reverse the curse, from the inside
In wait lie, waiting to die, give me my war, cowards "

No kidding, man, Strike has no equal in my sight. I would have launched into a big ramble about the impenetrable depth of Wor's concepts and lyrics, having mused upon their excellence just the other day while listening to Obey. They're there for anyone to read and judge, however, so no need for me to debase the subject matter via a Youtube comments' bin.
Great band, deserve to be legendary but they'll at least be missed sorely by the discerning few.

I might have found someone who appreciates their music as much as myself ha ha.
Kudos for uploading, but I can't say I view this band in the same way. Aside from screams that veer into the high register sometimes, abrasive production values, or Read's aversion to double-kick-flooded beats and bomb-blasts, AoA were about as 'black metal' as Angelcorpse. It just doesn't get any more death metal than 2:23-2:53 or the section from 3:24 until the end (esp. 4:22 on). AoA defy easy genre classification, anyway.
I fail to see how they're in any way satanic either but charlimit.

I would consider it blackened death at the most, but I hear clearly roots in black metal, albiet not what some would consider "traditional" black metal, but I consider that shit to be garbage in the first place. Immortal, Emperor, that sort of thing. I didn't mean satanic in lyrical content, moreso in values.

This is a great track man... but it isn't 'Satanic Chaotic' nonsense... and the members (not including Read who is a session member) were in Sacramentary Abolishment. There is nothing chaotic about this band, their music is well structured.

Read was hardly a session member, he was on everything they did, even if he was considered one. Sacramentary Abolishment sounds a lot different from this. And no shit their music is well structured, but the speed and lack of CONVENTIONAL structure would suggest a chaotic feeling. I've done my homework, and I've listened to them plenty, nice try.

SA doesn't sound at all different, still same creative style and Thergothon influenced doom. The members refute satanic doctrines just as much as any Judeo-christian beliefs... read the lyrics. Conventional structure is boring.

Satanism being taken seriously in metal is what led to the shitty Norwegian scene. Their relation to Blasphemy still cannot be denied. I think they shifted style quite a bit from their earlier years, but maybe that's just me. Conventional structure and extreme metal don't mix.
