@Mr330d Nope, no E39 has an LSD other than the M5. You can retro fit the M5 diff but its a lot of work and money. 530d M Sport won't have an LSD either, and less power ;)

@LiquidChild99 pfft nobody want's an e39 m5 why would you want one of them when you can re-map a 530d to 230bhp and it'l do 150mph them m5's aren't that quick 0-60 isn't much better than the 330d's re-mapped always liked the e39's so your 540i has a 4.4 right?? manual auto?

@Mr330d M5's aren't massively fast, a Mate of mine has 99 V plate M5, it is quicker than mine, but not by enough to make me want to go out and buy one. Mine's an M62B44 Non vanos Auto so has the bigger intake manifold and better exhausts, dyno'ed at 272 Bhp at the wheels completely stock :).

My Dad runs a 330d, I do like them a lot, thinking of having it off of him as the 4.4 V8 is pretty thirsty.

@LiquidChild99 i'd prefer my 330d to an e39 m5 anyday 330d re-mapped = 360-370lb-ft 246bhp 0-60 in 5.9 and top speed's 155mph mine's a 2002 5 speed so it has longer ratio 4th gear = 125mph i prefer it than the 6-speed 330d's it has some carbon fibre extra's and a straight through exhaust in stunning imola red ;) sitting on 19's

@Mr330d Yeah they're Ok, my Dad's is a stock 184 Bhp 5 Speed manual and its nice to drive. Feels quite slow compared to mine though, although i'm sure a remap would sort that out. There is something about a big V8 with a straight pipe on it though ;). Shame they use so much bloody fuel lol.

@LiquidChild99 nice even the 184bhp model is meant to be fit for 150mph but a re-map would defo make her feel alot quicker even the 204bhp has some difference when re-mapped it's like 6 seconds quicker from 60-110mph
